I hope harpring gets it cleared up! Boozer is struggling with his game right now, with harpring back playing 25minutes a game, we could somtimes play AK47 power forward and play harpring the SF position and get a better defensive team on the court, or at least a team that fight on both side of the court, like it used to be in the past...like magic used to say: "defense wins game, wins championship..."

There is no body that I have ever seen try as hard as Harpring. Remember, he really helped Stockton and
Malone towards the end of their career...If Harpring
inadvertently decks the lane drive of Parker this year in the playoffs..the Jazz will advance. Millsap and Harpring know how to play basketball. They are
Sloanesque Devotees.

Nice to have increased minutes for Matt who has a desire to work on both ends of the floor. Perhaps Boozer could watch and learn that there are two ends on a basketball court.

Some interesting stats.

Boozer is averaging only 17.3 points over the last six games. In his previous 35 games, he averaged 23.4 and had seven games with 30 or more (lousy team record during that span). The Jazz are 5-1 since C Mehmet Okur returned to the lineup. Harpring, Korver and Paul Millsap each played more than 22 minutes off the bench. Notice we are winning now?

This team is clearly better when the scoring is balanced instead of relying on Booz putting up big points. D-Will ought to take notice of that stat from yesterday and how it overwhelmed the opponent. Who do you guard?

Anyone notice the defensive intensity yesterday? All without AK even on the floor--he is starting to loaf again. When he tries, his help defense is among the best--not sure if he still has a sore back or what but he is not even trying right now. No blocks.

Matt/Millsap bring a defensive intensity when they are on the floor. Amen!

Good luck, Matt! You constantly earn my respect with the way you WORK on the court, and I am sure, off the court. However, that is irrelevant. What is important, is that you are given the decades (with which we all hope we are blessed) to be a good husband, father, and friend. You will be in our prayers!

I Agree with Moto X. It's something brewing in Jazz. February is close. I mean dead line. I see AK doesn't seems to be interested to play. Actually Jazz plays better without Carlos Boozer. Jazz has more scoring talent so need who can defend. That's the question.

Worst case scenario, I'm sure they are just polyps that can be removed.
We need him although he isn't as consistent in his jumpers as I'd like.

+1 to what Moto X said. He!!, lets let AK and Boozer go for a real big man in the middle.

My brother, who's not a basketball fan, saw Matt Harpring at the free throw line, and said, "that guy looks like an old fashioned Army captain, like in the old movies!" Matt Harpring is an old school can do, hard nosed, never surrender B-baller. I never have to scream at the TV for Matt to move his feet on defense or to not stand around on offense. I love it when he gets the ball in the paint because I know the guy guarding him will feel it in the morning.
