If she were a man she would be sent away for life. We'll see what the system thinks (again) about a female sexual predator.

Oh but she was in a position of trust--she is an adult, the boys are children.

Regardless of what sentence she gets she will be listed as a sex offender for a minimum of 15 years and maybe for life. Her ability to get a job, find places to live if they move, she may be restricted from being around even her own children and grandchildren, will have to register at least once a year and possibly every 4 months, and her children will be taunted at school. There are so many other problems they will have to overcome.

Best of luck to them. They will need it.

She still has family to raise. Get her the help she needs and then get her back in the home to finish her job there. If her family is going to suffering they need their mentally, healthy mother taking care of them.

She wasn't fired for not meeting expectations, she was fired for sticking a kids' phone down her shirt, and then telling him to come get it. Also, these relationships WERE going on while she was a substitute teacher. The school is just trying to cover their butts. They need to have a serious re-evaluation of all their substitutes in the future.

Mrs. Ward was the coolest substitute teacher ever. I feel bad for her but her punishment is just.
