Transparency bill aims to shed light on government

I echo the plaudits to Senator Neiderhauser and all supporters of the
Transparency Bill. Although no panacea, opening up government at all levels is
an excellent first step toward accountability and public scrutiny of exactly
what our elected officials and public servants are doing with our tax dollars.
The SL Tribune should also take a bow for having already used GRAMA to post much
information on utahsright.com We can only hope that this bill passes and local
government becomes more efficient as a result of this bill.
