I echo the plaudits to Senator Neiderhauser and all supporters of the Transparency Bill. Although no panacea, opening up government at all levels is an excellent first step toward accountability and public scrutiny of exactly what our elected officials and public servants are doing with our tax dollars. The SL Tribune should also take a bow for having already used GRAMA to post much information on utahsright.com We can only hope that this bill passes and local government becomes more efficient as a result of this bill.
