We'll see. I don't think that is possible in Eagle Mountain. Maybe they should have named the city Point Of The ....

I'm worried because while Jackson was on the city council she voted on numerous items that directly benefited the major developer all the while being his exclusive title agent. Though she claims there was not a conflict of interest, the rule is that a councilman can vote on nothing without disclosure that would financially benefit themselves or their employer. This possible conflict of interest has never been examined by any legal authority. The city attorney offered an opinion, however he shares a common relationship with the developer and Jackson. With the amount of acrimony surrounding Heather Jackson in Eagle Mountain, I suspect there will be an investigation and she could indeed be indicted and embarrass Eagle Mountain before her two year term ends.

The picture shows her son moving her into her new office - he's not on the payroll, is he?

I think Eagle Mountain is not out of the woods yet. The city has a home owners association that seems to be taking money with little return except for income for the so called "employees". The city council needs to take a hard look at how the city deals with this HOA and protects the citizens rather than providing profits for the HOA people.

She has nothing bad or shady on her record and I think she'll do a great job. I don't know her but the fact that she had a clean record tells me she will do far more good than the other guy who ran against her.

Wait- She got onto the council on the coat tails of the last felon mayor! So did Lifferth. They ran together as a trifecta of dishonesty. Those of us here in Eagle Mountain see dark times ahead.

We've earned the ridicule.
