Thank you Mitt | 2:47 p.m. Jan. 14, 2008
Thank you Mitt for showing us all the way. You said that the Rust is in Washington....yet your answer to 'solve' the problem is what??? oh yea, more Washington fixes. I know he can't just stand up and say the he has no idea how to 'fix' Michigan, but sheeshh...at least try not to replace a political fix with another one. Hint: the last one did not work.

Only Ron Paul can speak the truth, governemnt is not the answer, it is the problem!

So what's he going to do?
Make it illegal for GM to build plants in China?
Talk the UAW into accepting "let-them-eat-cake"
wages?
Give me a break

If anyone can fix Michigan's financial woes, Mitt will be able to do it.
Just give him a chance.

You're welcome, Mitt | 3:04 p.m. Jan. 14, 2008
To "Thank you Mitt"

Sounds like you are out of your league against this business genius. He has proven his abilities and he is the best mind willing to get out of the way where needed but provide sound business policy where it is broken.

Who is Ron Paul ... the question will still remain unanswered for many in yet another presedential election.

"Enough Romney already" If your not interested, go read the artificial news generation at CNN or Fox. They think McCain is the man, but he still only has 1/3 of Romney's delegates. I'd say your contribution was an example of "can't tie your shoe but can complain".

If you have had enough of Romney, your desires are about to be rewarded....another second place finish will just about kill him in this 'race'.

willard milton romney has had a chance to fix Michigan as it just didn't happen but he chose to live and play politician in Mass. not his home state of Michigan. He can't fix it anymore than anyone else he is just saying what it takes go get votes, how stupid are people? Willard is a politician first, then a company destroyer second.

Ya all would like Mitt to tell you EXACTLY what he would do to fix things. Well, that wouldn't be prudent, even if he knew EXACTLY what at the moment.

Any good ideas he had would be paroted by the other candidates in one way or another. NOT GOOD.

With his track record, he can be depended upon to do the best that anyone could do.
GIVE HIM THE CHANCE!

Good thing the Union is alive and well in Michigan to keep those people working. The highest unemployment in the country--ya the Union thing has worked out real well. The kicker is these union employees even paid dues for this!! Get a clue people.

If Mitt could eliminate the Unions and the pathetic mentality that goes with them then he might solve the problem. The problem is the people there believe they are "entitled" to more than the rest of US workers. Limit the amount of work you do and press for a raise and improve my benefits please--genius. That will get an economy revved up!!

The amount we all pay for new vehicles is over half employee benefits and pensions. Get the unions out of the way and the automakers could actually compete/innovate instead of being shackled by ridiculous bloated contracts.

Actually Mitt need only stand up and tell them they will get something for nothing--he would get every vote. That is what the Union bosses tell their sheep and it seems work for them.

Am I the only one that sees the humor in Mitt Romney talking about helping the auto industry? Why did rambler go under? Was it due to Leadership? Style? Design? Oh what irony!

The reason American autos suffer from inadequate demand is because the Japanese, up from their knees after WWII, build better cars! Mileage, innovation, style, design, etc. Produce a better car and the world will beat a path to your showroom. But keep building gas guzzlers and ugly stuff... and the Koreans will own us! The problem is not in Washington, it is in Detroit! No one in Washington makes Detroit build ugly, out-moded, gas guzzlers! No one. Detroit has done this all by themselves, lobbying Congress for more and more breaks. Detroit has failed America.

Mitt, tell them the truth: Detroit has made ugly, old style cars for decades now. The Japanese have rolled by us. The Koreans are rolling by us.

McCain, despite his age, told Michiganders the truth: some of those manuf. jobs are not coming back. Yee gads, someone please tell the truth.

By the way, did Mitt ever work in the automobile industry? On the line? In what capacity? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I'm surprised Republican Romney would even admit there is any problem with the economy.
(who's kidding whom? - the economy is in deep, deep trouble)
Plus you now have Rush Limbaugh telling his wacky conservative loyaists that people saying negative things about the economy are (you guessed it) part of the "drive-by Media" and is false.
Stupid, stupid Limbaughites.

"go read the artificial news generation at CNN or Fox. They think McCain is the man..."

He just may be when it comes to South Carolina, where 55 percent of households have at least one member serving in the military. Three generations of Romney's have dodged serving the the military. There are quite a few Americans who value service to their country over making money.

Just because MCCain served in the military does not make him presidential material. He would continue the same failed international policies of the Bush administration and ignore the domestic problems. A strong economy is what this Country needs and Mitt can do that.

I did much better financially when Clinton was in office. I'm voting for a Dem. Mitt can't fix what his party has done. The entire cabinet needs to be booted out. Oh yeah, on morality, I don't think very much of Bush or Clinton. As far as running the government, Clinton was a much better President. I even miss Janet Reno.

No. Utah sees a major earthquake every 350 years. Last one? 350 years ago.
