A story like this would be easier to understand with some sort of map or chart.

Maybe it would have been better for Mr. Sellers to have worked with the
residents in regards to his new town. Instead he has tried to push his proposal
through without the support of potential future residents. This is what happens
when you don't play nicely with others.
