Its nice to see Becker reaching out to the Republicans in the city by appointing Karen Hale. Oh, wait, she's a Democrat. Well, it would be nice if Becker at least had one token Republican. So much for being a Mayor for everyone.

Senator Hale is a good woman who consistently rises above party labels. If the rest of Mayor Beckers appointments resemble even half of the practicality of the Hale appointment, then (as a GOP state and county delegate) I applaud him.
