There's still 47 states waiting to elect someone plus some with multiple
primaries as well. Territories also choose there parties nominations though
they can't elect the prresdient.

I really don't mind the early states and I think they are helpful in the
training of the candidates. It helps them clarify their position, to some
degree. But I like the analogy of sports. In football the first to make a field
goal in the first quarter can't really claim victory, nor can the team with
the most yards claim victory. The victor is the team with the most points at the
end of the game.(period) The nomination goes to the candidate with the most
delegates at the convention. Don't forget that the early states lost half
of their delegates. So, New Hampshire has 12, but Utah has 36. I wonder who will
win Utah? The media appears to be like the T.V. announcer (are they paid by the
number of words per minute?) at a football game. Most of what comes out of their
mouth is just meaningless drivel. Predicting the nomination at this point is
similar to predicting the football game in the first quarter after a field goal.
