As an avid DV skier and four year instructor there a few years back, I was surprised by the top run picks. I'll nominate one run for the top spot, Mayflower Bowl, but based on the picks in the article, apparently all the best ones are still secret...I'll keep it that way. I will say however that, although DV is famous for its grooming, it is the wide aspen groves with hidden troves of deep powder that draw the locals...absolutely phenomenal tree skiing.

Skied Stein's Way just today, no 70 degree pitch anywhere at DV, let alone a 50. The pitch mentioned is a 45 max. Stein's Way does have the following trivia fact however: before Salt Lake was awarded the Olympics, and before Holding agreed to put in the round gondola, it was once thought that Steins Way would serve as the downhill. It is a great run.

Does any mountain anywhere have a skiable 70 degree pitch? i don't think snow can stick to that!
