I am optimistic he can make working for SLC a better experience for the city employees (less tense work environment, less walking on eggshells to avoid offending the mayor and getting the ax, etc).
I am also optimistic that his low-key style will enable him to mend the fences with his neighbors in Davis Co and SL Co (Both residents and leaders from these counties).
I hope he can help both Moromon and non-Mormon residents and visitors feel welcome in SLC.
