Now go get Bush/Cheney and get them to the Hague to have fair trials for war crimes.
They united the people becoming against their leader!
Wonder how quickly the city will improve. Hopefully the new mayor will be able to work with the city council and not just waste Utah's tax dollars in pompous arguing.
I'd be sleeping better tonight if I was you all.
you are a tool box!
but at least it can be said you are not the typical, kool-aid drinking, in the pocket of big money Leavitt-Huntsman type our state loves to elect for pubic office
thanks for at least balancing the scales
As a liberal man living in a very conservative state I can appreciate how Rocky made SLC look less fanaticly conservative than everyone across the country thought. I travel across the country and am never embarrassed to tell people I live in Salt Lake City. But I would be completely timid of mentioning where I live if I lived in Utah County for example.
As with all political leaders, I did not agree what everything you did, Rocky. But I know you were up against major evangelical hurdles. Thank you for a great eight years!!
Being over in Iraq, you of all the people on here should see that a tirant divides, controls, takes what is not his, and destroys public trust. The result may not be a physically destroyed city, but as you can read, just as damaged. It will take a lot of work to rebuild.

the rocky legacy is: more anti mormon, higher taxes, fewer business commitments, less services, low city morale, no important conventions, higher fees, ridiculous global warming claims, more san fransisco values, less tolerance, low cross city cooperation (Davis and Utah counties loathed the guy for trying to run thier cities) and a failure to allow downtown to grow without heavy handed government interference.
i wonder how long it will be before he tries to run for senate or govenor. hopefully never. as a utah native it would be horrid for this man to represent anything more than himself and his own ego.
as for SLC being more enlightend look at your voting districts and presincts they are deliberatley skewed to a democrats favor and have been for years.
you get what you pay for. remember that SLC
