It will be nice to see Marv go. While he is a nice guy, he is also the most worthless and ineffective public official I have ever known.

The DNews is being very gracious to Mr. Hendrickson. If he is stepping down for other 'viable' candidates, that must imply that he isn't, or at least doesn't consider himself to be one. Beyond that, it is hard to identify a less obscure SL County politician. This is just face saving. He would probably have been taken out in convention, to his great embarrassment. At least this way, its his own choice.
