This was a fantastic article. Very enjoyable to read. It has a Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward feel to it. Very fun. Thanks for writing.

Warhol was just weird. Would that his fifteen minutes of fame had been reduced to seconds.

I agree, very interesting article about a unique character. I wish I was in SLC and I would go to this exhibit.

If ever passing through Pittsburgh, definitely go see the Andy Warhol museum.

I was there...pretty obvious this was`nt Warhol. But, the "Chrony" crew fell for it.
Fun days....Seems like about the time of the Strawberry Alarm Clock concert. Smoke was thick.
What about the Tim Leary confab....was that great or what.

Joe Bauman, Deseret Morning News

Actor Allen Midgette, impersonating artist Andy Warhol, reads the Daily Utah Chronicle en route from Salt Lake International Airport to his hotel, during a speaking tour in 1967. Deseret Morning News reporter Joe Bauman, at the time a reporter for the U.'s Chronicle, took this photo secretly after being asked to not photograph the artist because he's shy.
