What a concept... A Mayor who considers the needs of all and not just his
personal agenda. That would be very refreshing.

I was born and raised in Utah and now live in downtown SLC. I wonder why the
new mayors� name was never mentioned? Still upset over
losing to Buhler?

Is the Mayor getting more responsibility than his Office deserves? His primary
job is to be the CEO (Chief Exectutive Officer) of Salt Lake City. The City
Council is the Board of Directors that sets policy. His job is to see that
those policies are carried out. He, of course, has the right to campaign for
policies that he would like to see implemented, just as any other citizen of the
city has that right; but, to extend his title to "Sovereign" is going
just a little too far.
