Jazz just can't find 'zone' during recent road skid

Is this contradictive by Sloan or what. He first banishes GIRI to the locker room for shooting an outside shot he made instead of passing it inside. Then says we need to make outside shots to break zones. So who is going to want to take an outside shot if you get what Giri did. You can't blast someone for making a shot then tell your team we need to make our outside shots. Has he been checked for ALzheimers?

Agreed, I have always struggled with Sloans comments with regard to making outside shots coupled with the fact that he always says we need layups...Giri is getting the raw end of the stick on this one. I have been confused about Jazz treatment of Giri.

To ID Jazz:

I'm sure Sloan wanted Giri to pass the ball inside to cause the defense to collapse. Then the post players can kick it back out to the shooters who can knock down the open jumper in rhythem instead of Giri just firing the first chance he gets.

I don't understand how a zone defense can confuse the Jazz so much. Maybe Coach Briggs of West Jordan High can help out Jerry and the coaching staff to solve this "mystery".

beyond what happened with Giri and Sloan the last game. This has been brewing all season. Sloan has it out for Gordon. Name another player on the Jazz this would have happened to.

what a paradox- sloan saying we need outside shooting when he will have anyone that shoots outside on the bench or worse on a plane back to SLC. WE know Sloan needs a whipping boy lets just hope it is Collins- this would at least help the team.

IF your gonna loose it and you cant loose it at the guys who suck on defense you might as well loose it on someone who is expendable and make an example out of him. MAYBE WILLAMS AND BOOZER SHOULD TURN THERE TEAM OVER TO AK!!!! AT LEAST HE HAS A FULL GAME AND PUTS IT OUT THERE EVERY NIGHT. WILLIAMS and BOOZER need to quit reading there press clippings.
