I'm sure Sloan wanted Giri to pass the ball inside to cause the defense to collapse. Then the post players can kick it back out to the shooters who can knock down the open jumper in rhythem instead of Giri just firing the first chance he gets.
I don't understand how a zone defense can confuse the Jazz so much. Maybe Coach Briggs of West Jordan High can help out Jerry and the coaching staff to solve this "mystery".
