No chips | 9:38 a.m. Dec. 14, 2007
Nope..lock up the criminals, put chips on the perverts, and get rid of illegals.

This would be great to attach to valuables, like mp3 players, that if stolen,
the police would be better enabled to catch the thieves.

I've been wishing I could get something like this to put on my kids.
Seriously. It freaks me out to no end to think about one of my two daughters
turning up missing one day.

to paranoid father, just get your kids one of those cell phones that has a gps
in it...some providers do that, and then give you a map where you can pull up
and see where it is/has been ....of course if the kid the the phone get
separated, that's not going to help a ton

Yeah, the phone is a good idea in terms of being much better than nothing. I
know the odds of something like that happening are slim, but when you see
something like the Elizabeth Smart or other young girls being abducted, you
think real hard about how awful it would be to lose your kids.

I'm a Minor | 6:05 p.m. Dec. 17, 2007
I'm 14, I wouldn't mind having this in my wrist or something. It would
make me really safe in knowing that an abductor is afraid of being found. There
is nothing wrong with this, think of the concept - we are onaly puting some
Silicone and a little bit of copper in someone's body (or backpack, but
thats a dumb idea seeing that if a kid is lost or stolen, you just have to lose
the backpack and it's over). The phone idea doesn't work because: The
phone will get smashed; The phone will get lost; in a city, the GPS waves will
get deflected; or the battery will run down. Why on Earth would this mean the
end of the world, it's a great new discovery. I'm a Minor, and
I'm for this chip!
