Jimmy's Sneakers | 7:06 a.m. Dec. 13, 2007
Does anyone else think it is funny, how nervous Sloan appears to be on those ESPN mic'ed up segments? Jimmy just wishes they would provide the uncensored and uncut DVD's for sale, so we could see how Sloan really feels.

Agreeing with Jimmy | 8:53 a.m. Dec. 13, 2007
I would pay good money to get a copy of the uncut DVD. I would prefer to leave the interviews out, just watch and listen to what Coach Sloan has to say to the refs.

Keep Millsap in the Starting! | 9:04 a.m. Dec. 13, 2007
Nice to see Millsap in the starting lineup. We ought to bring Okur off the bench to see if we can get his offense back, and if so that provides a nice spark off the bench.

Could hold a rafffle | 9:40 a.m. Dec. 13, 2007
The Jazz could hold a raffle among Jazz fans for playing time, and the winner would be more effective than Collins. That way they could raise money to pay him off and go find someone who could play.

Leave

Leave Fess in Orem for the time being. he needs the practice and game time. Why do we need a full roster for every game when eight or nine will do? He wouldn't get practice time because of the upcoming schedule, and certainly would not get any where near the game minutes that he'll get in Orem. The future is where it's at with the Jazz, just play on with the best effort possible and live with it. Give the young player a chance to develop some game, without the pressures of the NBA every night. He's going to be a GOOD ONE. Patience please!

Millsap should start over Collins anyday. I am a huge Jazz fan but everytime Collins goes into the game I just cringe. He is terrible. I will go out on a limb and say that he is the worst player in the league. Hopefully he will be gone soon.

I wish the Jazz would get it together and learn to play some defense for a change, while getting others more involved in the offense. They can't win with just D-Will and Booze scoring. Also, D-Will needs to stop playing to make the All-Star team and distribute the ball more....he's shooting the ball entirely too much....get Memo and AK more involved...we have 2 guys playing night-in and everyone else virtually asleep down the stretch 'cause they're not in rythm or invovlved early on.

Did anybody else catch Jerry's Halftime speach that they showed on ESPN? Somebody messed up in the ESPN editing room because one word snuck out! Those interviews are lame, its all the same thing. We need to play better Defense and the other team is good.

I see no problem at all with Millsap starting over Okur. Okur has been playing horribly and deserves to be traded. His defense has never been good, but his offense has made up for that. Now his offense is now less then acceptable.

Millsap is a younger player and less likely to get hurt, and he plays so much better. Millsap actually hustles around the court, gets offensive rebounds, and gets second-chance points, unlike Okur. So I think we should trade Okur and keep Millsap and let him start.

I love Millsap in there, but I'm not sure leaving Memo on the bench is the best idea. Having Memo out there really opens the lane for Boozer.
Oh, and as far as Collins being the worst player in the league, I believe CJ should keep that title. He just continually is horrible, on both ends.

Everybody talks about Boozer being an MVP this year but I just don't see how anyone can say that when he's so weak on the defensive end. Yes, he can score, rebound, pass, etc... but the boy couldn't defend Charles Barkley if his life depended on it. And for that fact, who else is sick of DWill getting beat off the dribble? The only people I see playing good defense for the Jazz are AK47, Millsap, & Harpring. Everone else are offensive players only! THE JAZZ NEED A DEFENSIVE PLAYER ON THEIR TEAM, BAD!

@ Brandon, age 13

That was a well written and thoroughly thought out comment that Jimmy agrees with 90%.

Jimmy only disagrees with trading Okur, since Jimmy thinks Okur could play a valuable role off the bench. Maybe he could be the Jazz's version of Big Shot Rob.

First off collins is the worst player in the league by far! memo should not only come off the bench but also be traded along with andre k. Ship this eurotrash out of here while people still think are have moderate value! we need something better, shoulda got marion when we had the chance

We need Fess. Play 5-10 minute is better than 20,30 minute in Flash and he will learn more. Back court SF-Milsap PF-AK, Center -Fess will cement Jazz defense. All three quick enough to cover guards miss.

Smush Parker is by far the worst.

Fes, Almond, Brewer and Milsap are the future but here is the problems with that.
By the time Sloan decides that Fes and Almond are developed enough we are two years down the road before they are significant contributors. Even Brewer would be riding pine this year had it not been for Fishers exit.
So by the time these players develop Boozer and Okur will have one year left on there contracts and I don't think Boozer will hang around if the Jazz do what they have done for the last 20 years and that is always looking for a diamond in the rough instead of going out and getting a proven free agent.
The other problem is going to be that if DWill gets a max contract next year then where are they going to get the money to sign Milsap and Brewer or any decent Free agent. Jazz will have AK, Boozer, Dwill, and Okur with contracts over fifty million for at least two years. Milsap and Brewer will leave like Bell and Anderson for the money because Jazz can't pay them. Good teams will put teams together to win now not two years down the road.

Umm Im pretty sure one if not both of AK and Memo will be gone in the next 2 yrs. We will see what we can get out of this core, and then when D-Wills new contract kicks in we will start over and build around Booz and Deron....that is if Booz stays here. Millsap will be restricted and Im sure the Jazz will match the mid-level deal he will get.

DWill Booz not working anymore. Simply they cannot outscore anybody too slow and o defense. With Booz no chance
