Leave Fess in Orem for the time being. he needs the practice and game time. Why do we need a full roster for every game when eight or nine will do? He wouldn't get practice time because of the upcoming schedule, and certainly would not get any where near the game minutes that he'll get in Orem. The future is where it's at with the Jazz, just play on with the best effort possible and live with it. Give the young player a chance to develop some game, without the pressures of the NBA every night. He's going to be a GOOD ONE. Patience please!
Millsap is a younger player and less likely to get hurt, and he plays so much better. Millsap actually hustles around the court, gets offensive rebounds, and gets second-chance points, unlike Okur. So I think we should trade Okur and keep Millsap and let him start.
Oh, and as far as Collins being the worst player in the league, I believe CJ should keep that title. He just continually is horrible, on both ends.
That was a well written and thoroughly thought out comment that Jimmy agrees with 90%.
Jimmy only disagrees with trading Okur, since Jimmy thinks Okur could play a valuable role off the bench. Maybe he could be the Jazz's version of Big Shot Rob.
Smush Parker is by far the worst.
By the time Sloan decides that Fes and Almond are developed enough we are two years down the road before they are significant contributors. Even Brewer would be riding pine this year had it not been for Fishers exit.
So by the time these players develop Boozer and Okur will have one year left on there contracts and I don't think Boozer will hang around if the Jazz do what they have done for the last 20 years and that is always looking for a diamond in the rough instead of going out and getting a proven free agent.
The other problem is going to be that if DWill gets a max contract next year then where are they going to get the money to sign Milsap and Brewer or any decent Free agent. Jazz will have AK, Boozer, Dwill, and Okur with contracts over fifty million for at least two years. Milsap and Brewer will leave like Bell and Anderson for the money because Jazz can't pay them. Good teams will put teams together to win now not two years down the road.
