I just read the marvelous book called, "Left to Tell" by Immaculee Ilibagiza. She tells of her experiences as a Tutsi during the genocide. Her parents and two brothers were killed in the massacre. She hid in a very small bathroom with 7 other women for 3 months. Her story is remarkable. I urge you to read it. She learned wonderful things about herself and of God's love and protection through all this. Make sure you have a box of kleenex near by. She's my hero!

For all of our problems here at home I am sure grateful to live where I live and know that hopefully my little ones will never experience this. God bless them all!!

Read "Shake Hands With the Devil" by Romeo Dallaire, the UN commander in charge of the "peace keeping forces" (what there were of them) during the genocide and you'll learn what really happened--those who are to blame are not the Rwandans.
