Is issue over competition for souls?

Religion has always been a business of competition for power and souls. For
those who belive it is a harmless game they should review history, the crusades,
the inquisition, Muslim expansion, Mountain Meadows Massacre, etc. it is one of
man's most bloody and cruel business. The leaders of these religious
motivated actions were, in their minds, well intented servants of their
religious belief. Today, more than any other time in history, it is most
important for America to have a sound, sane, objective leader who is not overly
influenced by fanatic fantacies of religious relevance in world politics.
