These so called health care plans for one segement of society is once again after more benefits they don't deserve or merit. Stay at home mothers and illegal aliens do not qualify as more needy than the working man. Socialized health care insurance is a money pit that should be abandoned and forgotten. Why should they receive special tratment when those working can't get health care insurance? They don't have time to leave their jobs to protest this greedy actions by those who are jobless and are too lazy to get a job. The working can't afford health care insurance either so why should special tratment be given to the lazy? So far there has been no complaints that any one has been denied health care so why all this special condiseration? All the lazy and illegals have to do is go in and get treatment then disappear, this is the normal way things are done. Why not go after thses people to pay for services? Why not get the illegals out of the country, deproted, so that we americans can resume our dreams of a better way of life? Socialized health care insurance is nothing but a scam.

Define Poor!

I am working poor but I still pay my own health insurance. At one time, while working two full-time jobs, I was covered by two insurance companies. I am affraid too many working "poor" people are gamming the system.

Why should I pay for my insurance when the neighbor down the street gets an unfair financial advantage?

One solution for the working "poor" would be to make them pay a proportional tax for not having health insurance; otherwise, give it to everyone for free - along with public housing, food stamps, free adult education, transportion, energy. Oh yeh, they probrably already get most of these for free. Welcome to the advanced stages of socialism!
