Hiking the Pacific Coast Trail

enjoyed the story. I myself am planning on traversing the PCT. I have been fascinated with that hike and am seeking as much info as I can. I am 61 and am wondering can i handle it? I hope I can. Inspiring stories are good and this one encourages me..............Paul

I am also considering hiking the trail. I will be training by doing some of the A.T. since I generally live on the east coast. but I am more in it for the scenery and the PCT I have heard is beautiful. I enjoyed the story and some good points it made. I will hope to carry 15lbs also. I love meeting new people and I love to hike and get away from the world for a bit time to time. I can't wait.
