Go UTES!!!!
Wyoming hasn't played against him yet so who says because they only allow 102 yards a game in the past will translate to Mack being stopped. I personally don't think they will be able to stop him.
Utah's weapons are becoming numerous and diverse and I doubt any team can stop all of them during any of the remaining games.
Utah will be going to San Diego and not New Mexico for a bowl game. That's if Las Vegas doesn't want them. Utah will win out the rest of the season.
Go UTES!!!!
Go Utes!
Andy Ludwig may not be popular but he has figured out the winning formula: Mack over 100 yards = utah win.
GO UTES!!!
What it comes down to is the Utes will finish 10-3 and will end up as the best team in the MWC, only they shot themselves in the foot at the first of the year with all the injuries...
If you are gonna come over here and talk smack (and it is fully encouraged) be man enough to stand up and admit your are a BYU fan. And by the way, if UCLA is so bad, why didn't you beat them? However impressive your win over the 7th best team in the PAC10 is, perhaps you should find another option for attacking the Utes.
I just have to wonder exactly what the mighty cougar record would be if they lost Hall for 4 games, Austin Collie for the entire season, whoever their best OL guy is for the whole season, Jan Jorgenson for 4 games. I hesitate to go into the secondary because the record might improve if some of those guys went down.
BYU has been lucky they haven't played anyone with a better passing offense since Tulsa. They will see tonight just how overrated that defense has gotten over the past couple of months.
GO Utes!!!
Congrats to Darrell Mack on being the most dominant RB in the MWC! Even without playing in game 1 and limited carries in game 2.
CSU drove inside the BYU 10 yard line three times in the first half and came away with 3 total points. Thus, CSU was able to move the ball relatively well against BYU's first stringers, they just couldn't score many points.
Don't try and tell us that most of CSU's yards came against BYU's reserves.
UCLA allows just over 100 yards a game in rushing defense. Mack had 19 for 107 and a TD. Against a stiff run defense in TCU that is 3rd in the conference in run defense the Mack Truck had another 100. And you people have the nerve to say he is overrated? Come on...I bet you have never put pads on in your life to know how hard it is to churn out 100 yards every game like Mack has when everyone on the other side of the ball is gearing up to stop you.
Grow up coUg fans!
Anonymous (Cougar fan): Mack had 100 against TCU (albeit on a poor 3.2 ypc), but Utah was vanilla conservative and TCU knew what was coming. TCU IS a good defense. The BYU will find out tonight. TCU is fast, physical and hits hard.
Speaking of hard hitting defense, UCLA. Yep, that team has not been the same since they lost Ben Olson. Remind me again when they lost him? OH, that's right, when UCLA cam to SLC. Olson hasn't been the same since Sly Sylvester went WWF on him and Terrell Cole drilled him in the numbers.
