LDS Tonga Temple rededicated

That so cool!

Greetings and congratulations to the great saints in the Tongan Islands.

Congrats to the Tongan people and this is a great example of what blessings can be yours because of obedience to the gospel and its principles. How I wish for that kind of obedience and blessings here in America! What we could learn from the Tongan people! WOW!!!

Great Beauty and wonderful works are for my Island people..

What Tonga really needs now is an economic solution not another temple. After all, majority of the rioters were church members, some were Bishpos.
LDS is funding their own person base in the Tongan Prime Minister's Office to conduct reconciliation or what ever and the outcomes - when that process be, will be determined by the church.

All we can do now is perhaps use the temple to pray for a miracles or plenty of it!!!!

I am so grateful for what the Lord has put on this earth. TEMPLES!!!!! EVEN IN TONGA.

In reply to "What Tonga really needs now is an economic solution not another temple..." We just returned yesterday from what we 'thought' would be a "fun in the sun" holiday. It was that, but more. I observed the humility and true joy of the Tongan people, which was not gained from temporal blessings as much as spiritual. The Tongan people are very close to God. Tonga does indeed need a temple - for to be able to attend the temple you must be a full tithe payer and there is no better solution to a budget than paying your tithes and being worthy to attend and serve in the Lord's House. Thank you Tonga, for strengthening my testimony and bringing me back to the reality of what the Gospel of Jesus Christ is all about!

Its a wonderful news. Congratulations to tongan people. I have seen the rooms, and Its a wonderful Temple, the House of the Lord. The people being so happy when had a temple. I live in Panama and we are waiting our temple, Congratulations!! Cool!!

The spirit we have experienced from this monumental event, the rededication of the Tonga Temple, was liken into the definition of the word, Integrity, which also means, the state of being whole. That is what we have been experiencing this past week end. I was one of those who participated in the choirs as a conductor for the cornerstone choir outside during the first session and also sing inside the celestial room with the second session of the rededication program. I was also suppose to sing with the choir at the cultural event on saturday night, but I joined my wife from the audience watching our daughter, Carolyn, participated on the field with the Tongan Dancers.
This is not a typical program which all of a sudden appearing on the television as it was live. We started practicing for almost six months ago and almost toward the past few weeks, we have been praying and fasting every week for some extra help because we knew we couldn't do it on our own. I am glad I was part of this great event.

Congratulations to the beautuful people of Tonga! They have waited a long time for their temple and now they have a "Jewel in the South Pacific". May they be blessed always. I know two wonderful people who have been invovlved with this special project and they and their family have been greatly blessed! May love blanket these islands.....

i belive that the church's in tonga really needed this I balieve there is nothing they needed more at this time

Manolito hopefully is paying their tithing and reaping the blessings of living this wonderful law of sacrifice and obedience. God gives us everything to begin with. why not pay Him a little back. there is NO other way to have the windows of heaven opened and blessings literally poured out upon you. if EVERYONE paid their tithing, LDS and non-LDS alike, then your perceived economic problems would suddenly be lifted.

That is a good news, that Tonga get rededicate and dedicated their temple. Congradulation Tongas people hopufully you all enjoy attending the temple everyday. God gives us everything to begin with. There is no other way to heaven and be with our Heavenly Father in his blessant.

The blessings that come from temples are two-fold. Blessings for those in the temporal as well as those beyond. May we have a greater appreciation for what these beautiful temples represent. I do agree, let us rededicate ourselves...

I am surprised that a member of the First Presidency did not rededicate the temple, now that President Eyring is available.

i'm bless to be parts of this redadication participate... its was great.... eventhought that Pres Hinckley didn't made it here but the dedication prayer was sound like Pres Hinckley is saying it... its was to me.... so i know that his spirit was with us....

The Tongan people are the warmest, kindest, most generous, and naturally spiritual people I have ever known. I lived there for four years as a teenager on a church mission with my parents. We travelled to many other lands, but I have never met any group of people that even compare to Tongans. I am so happy for these beautiful, deserving people. It is my goal to go through the Tongan Temple someday. God be with you 'til we meet again. 'Ofa atu.
