Thanks for the great article. Good luck to Bill and Doug on their retirement. They'll never have such good seats at games the rest of their lives.

His name is Doug Pike, with an I. just fyI.
Thanks Doug and Bill! | 10:58 a.m. Nov. 3, 2007
Thanks to Doug Pike's passion for the Utes, he now has an extended family of ticket buying Ute fans. The U of U should thank these two not only for their sideline volunteer work over the years, but for passing along the Ute passion to many friends and family.
Doug, Thanks for sharing your football tickets with an obnoxious young nephew all those years ago!

Where can I sign up to take over? I would love doing that.

I would love to hear why the zoobs are difficult to deal with. I'm sure it has nothing to do with their arrogance.

BILL - How fun to read about your history on the field. We've known you for some time now, and had NO idea that you were so famous! Good Luck with your retirement, and especially that new hip!

My wife and I have been associated with Bill for over 30 years and we'll miss hearing the stories and coomments of his experiences at the Uts' football games. Having been a great athelete himself in his youth, he still presents a tough competative will and spirit in all his activities. We'll miss Bill on the lines.
