It was stated in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina, that due to global warming. There would be a great increase in the number and intensity of hurricanes.

When in fact 2006 was just an average year for hurricanes and in 2007 there was a 46% drop below average in the number of hurricanes.

The Environmental Defense Fund people believe that if you keep telling the public something, then it become fact and the truth is lost. Truth is that hurricanes have dropped dramatically since 2005.
