There you have it. The evangelicals the Republicans have pandered to all these years just left the Republican Party. Let them form their own party.

I object to one word used in your article. You said those polled viewed Giulianis views as too moderate. The correct word is liberal.

If evangelistic Christians choose to have a 3rd party candidate, then Mrs. Clinton will win the race without any doubt. Having a 3rd party candidate will weaken the Republican vote, and strengthen the Democratic vote. This very same thing happened when John McCain ran for President. He pressured people to vote for him, and the Democrats almost won the election.

As a strong evangelical Christian, I do not necessarily support the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but I believe Mitt Romney is a very good candidate, and I believe he should be supported by Christians, rather than choosing a 3rd party Candidate.

You suggested that Mitt Romney "should be supported by Christians".

Perhaps thats the difference between liberal Republicans and conservative Mormons.

Mitt Romney does not represent conservatives, nor does he represent Mormons. Mitt Romney is a fringe liberal and he is trying to side-swipe Fred Thompson in the same manner that John McCain tried to hijack the GOP from George W. Bush in 2000.

Mitt Romney is not wanted - nor welcome in the Party of Reagan.
