Sherrie Hall Everett has been tremendous in educating those of us in the Lakeview area of the issues affecting development of our neighborhoods. She has been steller as to communicating to the residents of Lakeview not only her opinions of the issues facing us, but also objectively pointing out the point-of-view of the other candidates as well.

She will be a great member of the council!

I couldn't agree more. She has energy, and skill. She would bring a new set of skills to the Council.

Steve Turley is the perennial anti-neighborhood vote on the council. He votes for developments when the neighborhoods are against them, he votes against projects to make our downtown neighborhoods a safe place to live. Interesting fellow...

I received a mailer from Sherrie Hall Whoever, it was remarkable in its complete lack of specifics. I'm all for voting for someone from my neighborhood, but you better be able to offer me more than just being from my neighborhood.

All I can say is that I am excited for the election to be over. As a resident on Grandview hill I am tired of seeing blue and white signs everywhere! What a sore site this is for our community. Some law should be passed about campaign signs; they really are a nuisance.

I am a little concerned that Ms. Hall Everett is running for "council" when she can't even spell council correctly on her website. Check it out for yourself...

Sherrie will be a great council member. She is informed about the West side and she understands our issues. I don't know what is expected from a mailer, but if you go to her website you'll find all kinds of information. Sherrie has gone out of her way to help voters to be informed. There are lots of reasons not to vote for someone, but lack of information on a mailer or using the alternate spelling of a word are not some of them. I will vote for Sherrie because I want my issues to be represented and she's the person to do it.

It concerns me when the trivial matters take center stage when an important issue is to be decided. Spelling, mailers, are you kidding? I hope those people are taking the time to watch the rebroadcast tonight of the council races debate that happened a few days ago. Then they may be able to educate themselves about the candidates from our area. Sherrie is poised and ready to do great things for our area of the city. She is well informed and willing to work hard for important things. As a business woman she knows how to get things done, and she knows how to work with others to accomplish important goals. I hope you will take a moment and educate yourselves, because if you do, you will see a well informed person who can and will be a positive voice in Provo City government.

Too bad Above-average Joe wasn't there to correct the typo in question before it got out and threatened our peace and prosperity and all that we hold dear in this blessed little town.

Average Joe, you have given us an above-average example of the pettiness that hangs over election season.
