In chosing the headline that he/she did, was it the editor's intent to cast
unwarranted aspersions on SUWA? The fraud that the two men were accused of (and
to which they pled guilty) had nothing to do with SUWA. So why choose a
headline that suggests an association? Just glancing at the headline, it looks
like SUWA, as an organization, has been involved in criminal activity. It makes
one suspect a political motivation.

Mr. Wilson says that SUWA was not "directly" involved in its
directors' securities frauds. This is a pregnant acknowledgement that SUWA
was at minimum indirectly involved in the frauds. SUWA should thoroughly
explain just what its involvement was. Did proceeds of the frauds committed by
SUWA's directors flow into SUWA's bank accounts? Has SUWA had to
disgorge any funds? SUWA should immediately open all of its financial records
for inspection by the media and others.
