Hopefully the bond is defeated for the fact that over $92 million of it is pork
barrel bonding for non related projects. Lieing and deceiving the public is
cause enough to defeat it. A special elcection for a special bond with only the
needed new building for law enfrocement and emergency services be funded, the
real cost of $100 million and discard the pork projects and excessive taxation.
Besides with the windfall tax increase in property taxes a bond should not be
necessary to rebuild needed facilities.

no on referendum 1 | 8:48 a.m. Oct. 21, 2007
It will be even more confusing if Salt Lake calls Referendum 1 which is the
voucher law and what it is called in the voter information guide by the title
Initiative 1

Yes on vouchers, no on Taj Mahal | 9:12 a.m. Oct. 21, 2007
I guess the only people who would be confused are the ones who think that public
schools deserve all of our education money.
