It seems that the city of Provo does not want to work with BYU. They seem to forget that BYU is the only reason that Provo is on the map. You would think that they would want to help students, make students feel comfortable there, and support students in their education. You would hope that BYU would remember that their students are citizens as well.

Ban all students living on campus from having cars. There's a start.

Provo City is a lot to blame! There are many apartment complexes, etc. that are continually allowed to build and add on, while at the same time reducing the number of parking spaces for the residents.

This recently happened in north Provo where a complex added on and now the narrow street next to is is full of cars every night, creating a major safety hazard. The buses in that area are also too full to carry any more students to school.

BYU and Provo could also help by building more parking structures or arrange special school-only buses from certain areas on a more frequent time schedule. Provo City and BYU should definitely work together more, if Provo City would do it.

We're not going to get rid of the cars. More students today need to work more than they have had to in the past just to make it through college. Cars are needed to get to work and back. The bus system here is inefficient most of the time.

No. Utah sees a major earthquake every 350 years. Last one? 350 years ago.
