I live in Missouri and was very excited when my husband came home and said there was an oppurtunity to transfer to utah. I believe it is beautiful place to live and I wish to bring up my 16 & 19 year old girls in this beautiful country. I can honestly say this company when I first walked in was the cleanest factory I have ever visited. This company is about family. They care about there employees and they have great benefits.

WOW! I have worked for P&G for over 17 years and in several different plants. I can tell you from my own experience P&G gives to the communities in more ways than just jobs.
I have been offered a transfer to help start up this plant and am in the middle of making my decision. If this is an example of the local intelligence level I may just decline the offer.
Not so sure I want to expose my children to such ignorance and intollerance.

As an 23 yr. tech for PG, I can say the work, pay, and retirement is excellent. The work schedule is tough, 12.5 hr. shifts, flipping from days to nights and then back to days. This is probably the best "factory" work in this half of the state. Everything is highly automated. Some technician jobs are day shift for 3 years and then you go back to the floor. Project management, enviromental, SAP, PLC and other controls systems, database management and other jobs are opportunites. The work is not the same day in and day out, and you must be able to work with all personalities and ethnic groups. You will be expected to give performance feedback to your peers. Yes, you will have to do things you don't want to or think that is valuable. Don't get too stressed about it and go with the flow. The retirement plan (stock) is purchased by the company for you. If you work 30 yrs.for PG, you will be very well off. I don't punch a time clock. I am trusted to enter my work hours in a SAP program.
