As Waterwatch of Utah, we monitor issues that impact Utah's water quality. In our opinion, Salt Lake City has one of the finest water systems in the State. Both Mr. Hooten and the Water Master, Florence Reynolds, have evidenced remarkable vision with the creation and implementation of the Watershed Protection Plan as well as the Source Water Protection Plan. Salt Lake City has been wise to support Salt Lake Public Utilities well considered plans that protect Utah's most valuable commodity, high quality water. Knowing the caliber of people that run Salt Lake Public Utilities, Mr. Hooten can pass the baton, confident in knowing that between Mr. Niermeyer and Ms. Reynolds and the staff, Salt Lake Public Utilities is left in excellent hands.

Respectfully, Lorna Rosenstein
