3 Utah County events to offer information on vouchers

The meeting at UVSC is actually TONIGHT--WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 3--not tomorrow.

We can have numerous �pro and con� meetings, debates, shouting matches, political views, and so on, but after all is said and done the majority of the people in Utah are opposed to �Vouchers�!!

PUBLIC MONEY MUST NEVER BE USED TO FUND PRIVATE SCHOOLS.

If some people are not satisfied with the public school system, or feel that their children�s poor academic achievement is the fault of the public schools, there are other ways deal with the situation. For example:

Parents and/or guardians should become more involved and proactive in their children�s education and achievements. (Baby sitting is NOT the purpose of the school system.)

Initiate �Home Schooling� for the primary or elementary years.

Enroll their children in one of the many �Charter Schools� in the area

Enroll their children in a private school or parochial school AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE!!

Join with others to take steps to improve academic achievement within the existing school systems.

The last resort would be to consider moving to a different part of the state or out of the state all together.
