Want to play more; make more shots, make more steals, make more assists, be a better defender, be a true team leader.

Quit your complaining! Complainers tend to tear the fabric of a team apart. Players take sides and fail to realize it takes a team to win a game. Never have seen and individual player score all the points of a team when they win.

Do the above and you will be an automatic starter.

Those of you who think putting AK into center position is a good idea, here is why it cannot work... First teams will react to this move by guarding AK with their centers and Memo with their #3s. AK will be smashed into pieces under the big guys and Memo will not find his shots over an athletic small forward. I think it is the dummest tactics I have ever heard. AK is most productive when he cuts and dunks. How many times last year he posted up and made the basket? Maybe couple times that's all. So, stop trying to tweak your roster and focus on what the team can do best.

I heard on the radio today that they are working on some plays where Memo will play the 3,Andrei the 4 and Boozer the 5 on offense. They will switch back on defense. Maybe it will work.

There are a lot of people out there who think that AK is a great defender.

Wrong, Wrong, WRONG

AK is a great weak side defender and a less than average one on one defender. He is a weak sister.

Now put that in your basketball pipe and smoke it

AK point-forward + AK shooting-forward = he ge more 'touches' and he is happy.
or
AK point-forward + AK shooting-forward = this year it's going to be a mess!!

If jazz keep talking on what they'll going to do with AK and how they'll going to use the whole roster and saying that: tamtam> AK will have the ball on hand more than any one on roster, well this could either be good or bad thing, other teams will pay more attention to AK and the other players will be free to make more plays, or they will actually let the ball on AK and just look on how he makes more turn overs without even being guarded.

Andrei did not want to come back to America. Putin sent him here to spy.

If Andrei wants to shoot more, he should take up hunting.

If I were a deer, I would feel very safe with Andrei shooting at me.

It's not about keeping Andrei "happy"! He just needs to suck it up, go to work, and earn his frikin' paycheck.
Gretzky | 10:32 p.m. Oct. 3, 2007
da Jazz will not ever win a championship as long as they exist in this small Utah non-hockey market. The refs will see to it just like they did against the Jazz vs. the Bulls in the Finals of the mid 90's.

If I were a deer I would be very worried to have Bryan and Rich shooting at me. Andrea wouldn't scare me though. Even with a nickname like AK 47.

I agree with you Gretzky-can't imagine the Jazz EVER winning a championship no matter how good they are, and I can't even say why except that it never seems like we get a really good complete team. I like the new kids on the block though after watching them play at the Rocky Mountain Revue. There's some real potential there, and D-Wil is all it in my world. He's the kind of man Jerry likes. Andrei, well, he breaks easily, looks gawky on a long dribble, and has bad landing gear after some of those high jumps. The guy needs ballet lessons if you ask me, and as a nurse who doesn't make squat for working my butt off, I can't wrap my brain around people who cry because they don't touch the ball enough FOR 63 MIL. Andrei, you wouldn't last a day as a nurse. I'm an old lady, but for that kind of money, I bet I could learn to play basketball and even score. And I'm very drama oriented so would be a great match up for San Antonio. Bring it on Manu!

I think rather than switching everything that worked last year, in an effort to make AK happy, the Jazz should look at using him like the Spurs use Ginobli. Bring him off the bench. If you started Milsap in his Place You really aren't loosing a lot on Your 1st unit, Maybe even an upgrade and he's okay being a role playe, then bringing AK and Harpring in would sure up the 2nd unit. He would be the man and allow him to get himself going by matching up against 2nd string players. Look at the mismatches that could create? The important thing is who finishes the game anyway.

Why doesnt he quit crying and do what he's payed to do. JUST PLAY DEFENSE
