I hope you don't leave us hanging on this one Lisa. Find out whether we can participate in this or not.

I like this, but; Romney will be the Republican candidate and will win the election...

Hope you're right, Ken! From your lips to God's ear. We need someone sharp and level headed like Romney as President.

Also, I definitely don't want a bunch of shysters back in the White House so we have to endure endless shameful behavior and often juvenile stunts as we did in the last Clinton reign. Not mention all the damage her leadership would bring the nation and the world!

We already have a bunch of shysters in the White House or haven't you looked lately. I doubt that anyones leadership could bring more more damage to the nation or the world than the Bush and Cheney have done. Don't place your bets or buy futures in Mitt Romney either, it's a sucker bet!

Mitt Romney is far and away the best presidential candidate. He is the only one, Republican, Democrat, or other, to have been so successful, a self-made quarter-billionaire, not to mention the best example for America, from a morality perspective.

Rudy Guiliani is basically a John McCain in drag, but without any military service, two failed marriages in his past, and children who won't even vote for him. Not the best guy to beat the Clinton attack machine. They'll eat him alive.

John McCain's anti-American Sovereignty, pro-illegal invasion stance makes him seem more like a candidate for the President of Mexico than the United States of America. And McCain-Feingold has muzzled the free speech of Americans who don't happen to own successful newspapers, TV stations, or network or cable TV enterprises.

Fred Thompson is an impressive actor, but he looks as old as Ron Paul is, and he's lazy to boot. He just doesn't have what it takes, and while many will argue that his trophy wife is cute, one cannot seriously argue that he is a good example for American children, who are our future leaders. Not to mention his terrible history lobbying for Planned Parenthood (the abortion mill).

Mitt Romney is the biggest panderer ever running. He'll say anything to get elected.

How'd this turn into a Mitten love fest. Oh yeah, the Utah thing. I know, it's not because he's mormon but if he weren't...

Anyway, the whole thing would be more interesting if we could bet on the primaries and the big show, no? Ok, the Utah thing again. Betting against republicans here is foolish, and betting for them would only get you about 2 cents on your two bucks. They wouldn't even take bets on place or show. It's a one party state.

I think it would be great if we could bet on the olympics, too, like horse races. WHo cares about the quarter finals of the 1000 metre men's? You would, if you had 20 bucks on the guy in lane 3 to win.

And hey, about Fred Thompson not being a good example for american children (the cry of the threatened conservative...PuhLEEZZE think of the children!!) Come on. I'm not Fred's fan either, The addle minded frat boy who lied us into this mideast mess is a good example? Maybe we'd be better off with mitten, or barack. Don't sweat America's future leaders. We've got the textbook 'what NOT to do' example in place already.

there is only one person that i would vote for besides Mitt, and that is Newt gingrich. he is a true statesman, a constitutional scholar,a man that could lead this country out of the political quagmire that we find ourselves in. I do believe tho, thatthe time for an LDS president is upon us. that thread that we are hanging from will not last much longer.

The problem with Mitt is that he can't be trusted.

I would not have much of a problem if the issue were his statements 15 years ago versus now. Instead, we are talking about statements made 15 years ago, reaffirmed as soon as just a year to two ago as Governor of Mass. and now he is born again Republican/conservative.

I am sure he is a good man but talk is cheap, what has he done lately? I know, he purchased a lifetime membership with the NRA, after trashing it 15 years ago then agreeing to some liberal anti-2nd Amendment proposals just a couple years back.

I hate to say it but with Mitt's lack of track record since his "conversion" to the Republican Party, McCain's love affair with our current failed policies, Guiliani's honesty in supporting the Democratic platform and Thompson not working hard...we might as well skip the Presidency, and work to regain a majority in the House and Senate.

One thing is for certain. The White House is the Democrats to lose (I am sad for that) and the only way the Senate will return to the Republican Party is if Hillary is elected. Troubles ahead!
