Once again, these elitist, 'not in my backyard' activists are making
noise. UTA bought this land how long ago? The writing has been on the wall for
a long time, folks. There doesn't need to be a referendum if they own the
land and the city is behind them. You can vote out the council and mayor who
approved it, but that's about it in this case. And there is another
option: sell your home for the $250,000 or so it will fetch and move away from
the line, you can get a home anywhere in the valley!
