Thanks for your fitting tribute to Governor Rampton. I grew up in southern Idaho but we only had television from Salt Lake City stations so I always felt more a part of the Utah culture. I remember Governor Rampton's folksy campaign ads in 1964. I was only nine years old when he was first elected and he had left office before I moved to Salt Lake after I graduated from college in 1977. Now that I've been away from Utah for almost 20 years, it is good to see that Governor Rampton's service and his legacy have not been forgotten.
