I wonder why unskilled labor wages are so low?? "Haskins said most poor and
low-income workers are able to get jobs paying about $8 per hour." Could it
because of the cheap labor policies of the government allowing the labor market
to be flooded by legal and illegal workers? After all wages are a product of
supply and demand, just like any other product. Anyone being paid below
subsistence level will require taxpayer support, which is really a wage subsidy
for the employers.

We're lucky there are even any unskilled labor out there? Eventually they
will all just be outsourced...
