Sounds like Keith is a little defensive about his "oil business" fortune. Thought it was funny a couple of weeks back when there was a story about a major fuel leak at a Top Stop convenience store. The reporter "couldn't reach" the owners. Wonder why? Could he be running for Mayor?

I wouldn't vote for any of them at this point. They're great at spewing rhetoric about what they think the voters want to hear. I hope voters are smart enough to know that mayoral candidates making claims that they will actually have a hand in education is a pathetic stretch. Sure, polling shows that citizens place education as a top priority. Just because that's true, doesn't mean you should put that in your platform or run entire ads on radio about it. Don't treat us like idiots. Stick to what your job description allows. This is a serious job. I don't care what you drive, where your kids go to school, or that your wife was a PTA President. Can you handle the affairs of SLC? Do you have what it takes to manage Salt Lake? Rocky didn't. I don't want to hear about environmentalism, the Iraq war, or liquor laws. Do you really think Salt Lake is not thriving because of those things? No. It's because our current mayor made those things his priority instead of the affairs of the city. Get it together, candidates. Let's hear what you're really capable of doing as Mayor of Salt Lake!

One more thing. I also don't want to hear you imply that Daddy is going to help you run the city. I don't care who your dad is. Stop running on your dad's name. What do you bring to the table?

No. Utah sees a major earthquake every 350 years. Last one? 350 years ago.
