The pictures of rejunvenated land accompaning your article are reversed. The "AFTER" picture shows land covered with Rocky Mountain juniper which creates a sterile landscape with little to no feed for wildlife. The "BEFORE" picture is actually the after picture where there is a variety of plant life established after the junipers have been chained. Just because something is greener doesn't mean it's better.

Hunting? | 1:01 p.m. Sept. 6, 2007
How is dogfighting so much worse than hunting?? Both are about killing animals. One pits a human with high powered weapon against a defenseless animal, the other puts 2 animals together like they would fight in the wild.

Does this article have anything to do with Dog Fighting? Please read the article! And then you can understand the difference. The last time I checked hunting legally was not a felony!

Before you venture down the comparison of dog-fighting and hunting road too far, ask yourself one question... When was the last time you contributed anything for the enhancement of wildlife or wildlife habitat. The reason we have animals like elk, moose, deer, bear, mountain lion, pheasants, ducks and geese, is due to the efforts of hunters. Hunters buy permits, the money from permits and a tax on hunting and fishing gear pays for the wildlife management of game and not game species.

If you go out and view wildlife, thank hunters. Without hunting, there would be no animals for all to enjoy.

Dog-fighting does nothing productive for society, in fact, dog-fighting is a despicable, degrading activity.
