I like what the ICE is doing to enforce our immigration laws at work places. This is the only way to prevent more illegal crossing of our borders. This is also a good way to let those who are here illegally to self-deport...saves the government expenses and headaches.

ICE agents will be required to abide by constitutional search and seizure laws. Aliens in the court will be entitled to an attorney at government expense. Its a great thing that ICE will start enforcing the laws, it is way overdue. If people are LEGAL and have valid SSN's, then none of this should be a concern or problem. If you do receive a no-match letter and are LEGAL, then it should be no problem to get it fixed. Its not a matter of hate its a matter of respect for the law. If were not going to enforce the law then why have it.

Why should employers be subsidized with cheap illegal foriegn labor? Why should tax payers pick up the costs associated with illegal aliens... so business owners can get rich? Business is not entitled to pass these costs to the average joe and if business cant make it without illegals I have a simple solution. Go out of business. Being in business is not an entitlement and I could care less if a business is successful or not.

The latest study has come out, and has confirmed what we know. Illegals are taking jobs away from Americans. A 44% drop in jobs for US citizens when the illegals sneak in. Of course, their wages are highly subsidized by the US taxpayer, so business can pay them on the cheap.

Time to enforce the law. Or we could change the law and adopts Mexico's word for word. A good percentage of the illegals would spend the next 10 years in jail. And there would be no more legal illigation from central america for about a century at least as Mexico does not allow their demographs to change.

Time to bring in those law abiding folks who have done what we asked, jumped though the hoops, studied and passed test on American history and our laws, the LEGAL IMMIGRANTS.

They argue that American citizens will also loose their jobs because of this. Interesting that there is no concern about US citizen's tax liability for other workers wages when they end up on their SS account. There is no discussion about the loss of means based entitlements when they are credited with wages they did not earn.

The employers processed I9s for 20 years with no undue hardship - except for the threat of lawsuits for actually questioning obviously fake docs. 90 days is sufficient to clear up discrepancies. Why not expand the SS insurance to cover workers that need more than 90 days to clear up status?

The SS# is also used to track deadbeat dads and others trying to get out of financial obligations. Is it OK to use a fake ID to do that?
