The Jordan school board owes its employees and taxpayers a HUGE apology for making such a bad decision. This decision from the start was bad policy. The school board only changed it decision after teachers beat them up at two meetings.

The idea that the Jordan school board thinks their 20-25 hrs/wk EVEN REMOTELY COMPARES to the 40-70hrs/wk our rookie & tenured teachers work is ludicrous! Our teachers even use their meager wages to buy supplies, aids, etc. to fill the void for the sake of the children (does the board?). When our teachers are paid fairly for all the time, effort and sacrifices they make for our childrens sake ONLY THEN will I cease my protests regarding board members raises & perks.

You wanted to draw attention to the Jordan school board, well you did. Now we know that you are more concerned with lining your own pockets than the good of our students, teachers and schools. The board has proven their new-found power is self-serving & they cant be trusted to use it wisely. You hurt your cause more than you helped it you might want to remember that before you make another rash and unjustifiable decision.
