I cant hardly afford inurance when my emploier pays most of it how am i going to aford it when i have to pay all if anyone thinks that the insurance companys are going to not get every penny they can from us and deliver the same poor customer service they now do under a plan like this they are more niave then i am. they would be just like the oil companys knowing they have us over a barrel and would take us for all they can. I am sory but we need to go like the rest of the world and just throw out the insurence companys all together

I don't see any insurance companies volunteering to insure those of us who are highly 'rated' already. Group insurance has been a life saver, since I have to be covered. I know how much my husband's employer pays for our insurance now, and there is NO WAY we could pay out of pocket. We were without insurance for several years before this job, and I don't see how nixing it from employer benefits is going to help anybody.
The only way to fix the insurance system is to put moral people in charge. I don't see that happening any time soon.
