Dustin Gabriel hails from our city of Allen TX - he's a great young man - wish him well in recovery, there's no tougher player on any team than this guy. He's a near legend here for his high standards, honorable nature and never quit attitude.

Just as I was getting a little guilty pleasure out of a weakened BYU I read that Utah's Boone is out for the season with an ACL. So I apologize to both sides. Here's to hoping that everyone else manages to stay healthy so both programs can do well.

We had to expect something to happen to BYU's secondary. I can't remember when the last time was they didn't have some sort of problems hindering their ability to perform to the level they are capable.

Its too bad about both Gabriel and Boone. Both great players. Hopefully they can get another year of eligibility.

I thought Bronco took a hit when he realized which players remained on their roster before the season started....

Here's an idea, fly Eric Weddle to Provo to do a special camp to introduce BYU's secondary to some basic coverage techniques. It may come in handy.

Why is this player taking a picture of himself? I thought that media day was supposed to entail the media taking pictures and interviewing players, at least that's how it is in SLC.

Do BYU players interview themselves and post it on Myspace? I need some clarification please.
