Sorry to mock, but seriously. I'd like to see him a little less stiff. Maybe he should call and ask John Kerry for windsurfing lessons. Now that would prove he's a rugged man.
[12] We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law."
- The Articles of Faith of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints, Articles 11 & 12.
In this we claim our privilege of worshiping God, and Allow all others to worship how, where, or what they want... in no way does Romney contradict these statements by imposing his beliefs on other people. I find it amusing that people attack and speak poorly about the LDS Church, when they know nothing more than what they receive from bias media, and rumored gossip, without even attempting so much as to know the proclaimed foundations and cornerstones of the LDS Church. If you really want to talk, just go and actually read the Book of Mormon. Maybe it'll educate you on what "Mormonism is all about." After all, it never has gone through any "Revisions" as the Bible has through such councils as the Nicene Creed. What was originally written upon the plates, through the divine direction, inspiration, and power of God, by an ancient Prophet-Historian, are the same words that are there written in the Book of Mormon. Unlike the Bible, which has gone through numerous interpreting translations, the Book of Mormon was translated directly into English.
And to those who think that we are not "Christians," to my knowledge and understanding, "Christians" are those who follow after the teachings of Jesus Christ, and bear testimony that He is the Christ and Redeemer. By that definition, it's hard to see how we are not "Christians," after all, you know, it's only in the name of the Church, hence the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Later-Day Saints. And the entire title of the book is after all The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. Quite clearly stating that we are Testifying... of Jesus as the Christ....
Go educate yourselves, both on politics and the religions of the world, before you judge a politician and his beliefs.

I do admire Mitt's for his integrity, kindness, leadership, devotion to his family and to his religion. I seriously believe that Mitt Romney wants to lead a country, he does not want to impose his religion on anyone. "ALL HAVE THE RIGHT to worship who and what they want. THIS IS A FREE COUNTRY. Let's leave religion out of the candidates. So isn't time to look beyond religion matter and if we can't, why aren't we treating all of the candidates the same? I am not a Republican but he is the one I will choose!...
