I think the state auditor should also look into the financial doings once again
at SLCC Custom Fit Training program. This program paid monies to only 6
trainers in a years period of time, their funding was over 400K. They are to
spend the state allocated money on a yearly basis and always have a carry over.
I feel that if this program was to be looked at closely they would find most
ATC's and SLCC have a major problem. They state should be very concerned.

How about Snow College in Ephriam. Employees get fired, but no upper managment
or internal control accountability there. Big problems for a new president to
deal with.

I agree with you Eddy. Just go to ksl and read the comments of those that know.
Just where is the accountability of controler for Snow College. 3 times in
less than five years. Come on Board of Regants, you can put a college president
on adminisrative leave, but turn your head on whats happening in Ephraim. You
need to put another person on leave....without pay. Or maybe his Stake calling
assures him of his job. No accountability. Its great when you steal from the
State.

Rob Brems is the salt of the Earth. I hope that he will be vindicated in this
matter...most unfortunate situation...

Seems to me that you ought to wait until the dust settles. Even good men make
mistakes and the endowment thing is a little off no matter what. The other thing
is-what happens at Snow, SLCC, or any other place does not really matter unless
you are trying to justify the action in this case. I worked next to Rob for
several years...does this surprise me...maybe a little bit...been trying to
figure out what he did to EARN the big bonus of over 100,000 and I am sorry but
that is a first with anyone in the system who got promoted within the same
system. Think about it...if it were me and I did nothing wrong then I would not
resign, I would fight to the bitter end to protect my "good" name.
