American Fork soldier dies in Iraq combat mission

When I deployed to Afghanistan, I ran into Barnes in Kuwait (he was on his way back to Iraq from leave). I had previously been his company XO, and we spent about an hour talking about the battlaion, the company, and how everyone was doing.
He was a great human being and this world is better for having had him in it.
