Can oxygen therapy treat autism?

There is no proof that HBOT treats autism, and no reason to believe it can.
Autism is a developmental disorder, not arrested development, so children with
autism continue to develop on their own, albeit in a different way. It's
unethical for any researcher to point to development gains as proof that HBOT
works, when those gains could just as well have occurred without oxygen therapy.

HBOT helped my son greatly. We will begin another round of treatment soon. My
son has been in intensive therapy for 6 months, he only really started making
improvements when we started HBOT. There are many studies that say it helps
cases of autism. As you say "There is no proof that HBOT treats
autism". There is also no proof that it can't. Those who say it
can't be done should not interrupt the people doing it!
