High rates of autism alarming

I watched a program (DayStar) on television a few years ago that featured a female doctor in Europe that put herself through medical school (while parenting at least 3 children) because she was disgusted at how the medical profession handled a sickness of her daugher's. She devoted herself to the study of autism, and in doing so studied (literally) thousands of cases. She was/is convinced that vaccines play a major roll in causing autism. Before you roll your eyes, just finish the message.... Many vaccines, despite the governmental regulations, still have heavy metal preservatives in them. (I'm not just talking about mercury--aluminum and others are also used.) She said that every autistic child that she studied was missing the specific gene that helps our bodies to get rid of heavy metals. Most, if not all, of her cases occurred shortly after the vaccinations. She did not suggest that we do not vaccinate our children, only that we wait until their speach and cognitive skills are developed so that if they are sensitive to the heavy metals or other materials in the vaccines, then their mind has already developed the necessary functions and won't be so easily damaged. Think about it....
