If you do not learn how to do your own thinking instead of being told how to think, you will wake up alright someday, wake up dead...
You are asking the wrong questions if you are letting this drive you out of the church. The scriptures are rife with examples of the Lord letting the wicked do their wickedness so that the wheat could be separated from the tares more easily in the day of harvest...
So wake up is right, but start asking better questions my friend, and stay on the right side of the war, we may lose a couple of battles, but as you have seen in the book of mormon, sometimes the leaders look stupid, like marching a column of warriors right by an occupied city so the enemy could give chase, but mostly, the leadership just knows things you don't, so don't give up on them.

Common sense alone supports Jones' contention regarding the collapse of the towers -- so, also, have most observations vouchsafed by those who make a living demolishing buildings to make way for new construction. No single plane per building could have caused all that, plus yet the demise of another structure not even touched by any aircraft.
I will refrain from commenting on the intelligence of those who really believe otherwise.
