Prof. Steven Jones, you are a hero! Thank you for not backing down to the LDS church. The church has once again proven that it will easily forsake its sacred claims of truth to lay claim on power. I'm considering signing on to the architects and engineers for 9/11 Truth petition for a "real" investigation. Your studies are cited in their claims. Thanks again for using science and truth to take us out of the propaganda!

I have been interested in trying to become more active in the church. After reading this, I am not so sure if it is the right thing to do. What I always have loved about the church is that they are always trying to teach us to be honest and good. Mormons are taught to learn all of the time. That education is very important. Why would they censor someones scientific studies. Why would they be afraid of trying to figure out what happened. It seems that either the Mormons are afraid of the government or the Mormons are part of the deception. Either way.... it is frigtening.

Because of his claim to prove thermite was used in the demolition of the WTC buildings did he 'retire', or was he forced into it using his retirement package as leverage? If the Mormons are so interested in 'truth' why did they drop the investigation of 911 when there are so many still unanswered important questions? I smell a rat here.

Any church has to be careful that it is not seen as a politically motivated organisation. They have not tried to silence or censor him. It is a fine line the church treads and has to air on caution - I would expect that of its leaders. The goverment is quite capable of bringing itself in to disreput - it does not need a helping hand!

When are you people gonna "WAKE UP"!!! " The Bretheren" are a part of "the conspiracy"
If you do not learn how to do your own thinking instead of being told how to think, you will wake up alright someday, wake up dead...

Geez Frank, either you believe the Church is true or you do not, it is not about asking why are they covering something up, it is about, if I know they are inspired leaders and they are outwardly not addressing this, then what else do They know that I don't!?!
You are asking the wrong questions if you are letting this drive you out of the church. The scriptures are rife with examples of the Lord letting the wicked do their wickedness so that the wheat could be separated from the tares more easily in the day of harvest...
So wake up is right, but start asking better questions my friend, and stay on the right side of the war, we may lose a couple of battles, but as you have seen in the book of mormon, sometimes the leaders look stupid, like marching a column of warriors right by an occupied city so the enemy could give chase, but mostly, the leadership just knows things you don't, so don't give up on them.
